The 12th International
Conference on Frontiers in Handwriting Recognition (ICFHR 2010) will be
held during November 16 - 18 in Kolkata, the cultural capital of India. The
ICFHR 2010, sponsored by the International Association for Pattern Recognition
(IAPR), is an International meeting for identifying, encouraging and exchanging new ideas on different topics of handwriting recognition as well as for promoting novel applications at the frontiers of this important field of research. The proceedings will be published by the IEEE Computer Society Press. The ICFHR conference takes place every two years and is attended by an average of 150 leading researchers and practitioners in the field. Many organizations such as: IBM, Microsoft, HP, Hitachi, NEC, Toshiba, Fujitsu, A2iA, Parascript LLC, International Unipen Association, Vision Objects and many others including local, state or city councils have sponsored this series of conferences in the past.
Sponsorship is sought from
potential companies and organizations doing business and/or promoting the
technology in the broad field of Computer Science. Interested parties can help
either by i) making a general contribution for ICFHR 2010 event or ii) by
sponsoring a specific activity such as contributing towards student
participation fellowship, keynote speeches, best student paper award, best
student poster award, or competitions, etc.
We ensure that our sponsors
will receive recognition for their contribution through hosting their logo in
the official ICFHR 2010 website, Conference Proceedings, final program brochure
and conference venue. Ample space (negotiable) will be provided for sponsors
who want to put up posters or display their products and pamphlets. The
benefits start once a sponsorship is confirmed. So there are definite
advantages in signing early.
